Terms & Conditions

1. General

In these conditions of sale:

• The Company refers to Prime Firewood LTD, registered at –61 London Road, Maidstone, England, ME16 8TX  United Kingdom.
• The Customer refers to any individual or entity contracting with the Company for the purchase of products or services.
• Delivery refers to delivery conducted by the Company or any subcontracted entity employed by the Company, whether directly or indirectly.

These terms and conditions may only be modified by a written agreement, duly signed by a Director of the Company. Submission of a purchase order online constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. Supply of Products

Products are sold under the following conditions:

• These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
• Contracts for the supply of goods or services to retail or domestic customers are governed by The Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) and comply with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, as amended by S1689 2005. Customers contracting in the course of their business are excluded from consumer protection legislation and are contracting with the Company on a business-to-business basis.
• The Customer is fully aware of the conditions of sale regarding logs and other natural products. The Company cannot guarantee that the appearance and/or color of products shown on this site exactly reproduce the appearance and/or colors of the physical products themselves. Natural products may exhibit variations in color, shape, and size. Products may contain debris such as bark, dust, and other material accumulated during the production process. Due to forestry procedures, a 5% variation in wood species should be expected.
• Some logs may exhibit slight decay or signs of boring insects, which will not affect their performance as wood fuel. All pests are eradicated during the kiln drying process. Sizes are approximate and may vary within a 10% tolerance due to the nature of forestry procedures.

3. Complaints

Any complaints must be submitted in writing by the Customer within a reasonable time after collection or delivery. If the Customer is dissatisfied with the product, it must be returned to the Company within 5 working days after the complaint has been logged. A refund will be issued for the original purchase price if the complaint is justified.

4. Prices

All prices quoted by the Company include the cost of delivery to most UK postcodes. However, the Company reserves the right to add additional fees in accordance with courier company requirements. Unless otherwise stated, prices quoted are all-inclusive and delivered.

5. Payment

All Customers are required to make payment by credit or debit card at the time of ordering.

6. After Delivery

All products, regardless of the delivery method, become the Customer’s responsibility from the time of delivery. The Company shall bear no liability for any loss, damage, or deterioration of the product from the time of delivery.

7. Delivery

The Company will make every effort to deliver products on the agreed date. However, if the Company is unable to deliver for any reason, the Company bears no liability for delay, whether in whole or in part, arising from any cause whatsoever.

• Delivery is conditional upon access being free from obstructions, with good roads available for the Company’s vehicles to reach the delivery location. The Company will not accept liability for damages to property caused during delivery. If access to the delivery address is not possible, additional costs will be incurred for re-attempted delivery.
• Deliveries are made by a kerbside tail-lift lorry. The ground and road must be solid, level tarmac, or concrete. Deliveries on broken concrete, gravel, or sloping ground are not suitable, and the pallet may be left on the roadside at the driver’s discretion if deemed safe. Additional charges apply for re-delivery or for products being transported back to our warehouse.
• To ensure delivery, the Customer or a representative must be present to sign for the goods.
